Joseph M. Acab "The astronaut"
Joseph M. Acaba is a middle school and high school math and science teacher who is also the first Puerto Rican ever to have become a NASA astronaut. He visited the International Space Station in 2009 from March 15 to March 28, where he helped to deliver solar arrays on a spacewalk to generate more power for the Space Station. In addition, from May 15 to September 17, 2012, he returned to the Space Station as a Flight Engineer. This famous historical figure grew up in Anaheim and lives there now, lending the city a piece of his notoriety.
The Famous Larry Beckett
Poet and songwriter Larry Beckett was also raised in Anaheim from the age of 10, when his family moved to the city. While attending Loara High School, Beckett became friends with Tim Buckley and Jim Fielder, both of whom are fellow famous musicians who worked closely with Beckett in the music industry. Together they formed the Bohemians but parted as Jim Fielder later joined Blood, Sweat, & Tears and Buckley became a solo artist. Beckett co-wrote many of Buckley's beloved songs, including "Morning Glory," "Song to the Siren," and "Goodbye and Hello."

In Disneyland in 2002, Anaheim Mayor Tom Daly granted the Grammy-winning band the Key to the City of Anaheim as another honor.
